Love Misunderstood

I turned towards the door,
Eyes rooted to the floor,
Worried stiff about her,
Just moments ago I found her lost in liqueur,

It was heart-breaking to see her will crushed,
This happened because I kept some words hushed,
These words can keep two hearts in mistrust,
This calls for some action that reconstructs trust,

I went to her finding her teary eyed,
I sat beside her talking about what left her vilified,
She fell into my arms after I testified,
These moments test one's feelings but if unattended,
They leave every lover offended.

One hears that temptation is easy, love is tough,
The road and the journey can be rough,
One is never satisfied that the other won't play the bluff,
As the heart is always full of mischief.
