India's Dream

My Country India has always dreamt of being a Developed Nation. But, the high population and improper use of resources has always hampered our dreams greatly.

Indians have always fought over small issues. The two biggest communities, the Hindus and the Muslims have had a fractured relationship since the British rule. The two communities had been united before the British rule started putting them against each other to forward their own goal of controlling the Nation till all its resources started draining. After the Partition, we lost precious fertile land.

MY AMBITION

Ever since, I reached grade five, my language kept improving, and, by the time I passed out from grade ten, it had become good enough to make my ambition of becoming a writer of stories. I had always had that ability to channel my ideas easily into words.    I was always trying to express myself through words. My Life

I am a boy in twelfth grade, I have an extremely rare disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which is progressively eating through my muscles. I have been Wheelchair bound since grade five. I cannot do nothing for myself, I achieved 90.66% in my grade ten examination, all thanks to my dedicated parents and my hardwork.

Letter To A Heartbroken Friend

Dear closed door heart, I know my friend how hurt you are feeling at the moment. There's not much to be found brooding over broken trust. There's not much to be found being a locked up heart too. Yes, trust is hard to earn and gain. Have you ever heard of a mountain goat that didn't want to climb a cliff just because it's hoofs were sliding all over? It kept trying until it eventually climbed up? Right? Yes, one can be a bit more circumspect about whom to trust. Yes, one can always talk a little less freely with people. I don't deny that. My Big Loss

I lost my grandfather on the 4th of January, 2012, he was in pretty good health, till the day he died. He had had terrible asthma but, he got cured. He never had any heart problem yet he died of heart attack. He had always thought about the well being of the society and also used to lend money to the people who were in desperate need of it. That fateful day, I had lunch with him, he was absolutely fine and had some problem in his stomach but before he reached the heart specialist, he collapsed inside the car. Our whole family was shocked and to this day, my grandmother gets sentimental at the mention of his name, so do I. For a week I didn't go to school and when I went, I was completely lost, that same day, I discovered that my best friend was leav ing the s chool.

THE CHALLENGE OF THE ENVIRONMENT PART 3

Another challenge for the environment is the continued disappearance of forests in Asia, Africa and South America and the continent of Australia. These forests are considered biodiversity hotspots due to the abundance of different animals and plants. These forests also house animals that are not found anywhere else in the world, for example, Lemurs of Madagascar are an ancient group of species of monkeys which aren't found anywhere else in the whole world.  Orangutans are not found anywhere else except some islands in Borneo and Sumatra, known for its distinctly orange coat, they are exceptional climbers and spend years lazily exploring trees for fruits high up from the forest floors. Problems Of Eastern India Part I

India is a country with major national issues to be solved being at hand to be solved. Many of these problems are found in the mineral rich eastern parts of the country where low economic development has lead to drastic illiteracy, poverty leading to armed struggle from the tribals in the form of the Naxal movement.   The Naxalites have a huge presence in this region, controlling heavily forested areas. They  are tribals who rose up against the government in the late 1970s.The conflict goes back to the failure of implementing the 5th and 9th Schedules of the Constitution of India. These Schedules provide for limited tribal autonomy towards exploiting natural resources on their lands and land ceiling laws which limit land to be possessed by landlords, as well as distribution of excess land to landless farmers and labourers. My Detrioration

I was able to walk on my toes till the age of nine, but as I came into grade five, things changed, I was no longer able to walk, my parents decided to send me to normal school and kept an helper for me, the day she found out that was no longer able to walk. I was felt left out by my classmates as they struggled to get grips of my condition.My parents had to bathe me and take care of my calls of nature. I was just able to write lesser pages, from ten pages in an hour, now I can hardly write one in the very same time. I am not able to drink water from a 500 ml bottle, I have to be fed my food.        In tenth grade, during my board examinations, I fought through severe back pain and fatigue to secure 90.66%. As I could not write exams now, I was provided with a writer so that I was able to complete my papers on time. I never let my disease grow big on me, taking it as the part of my life, and fighting back.

THE CHALLENGE OF THE ENVIRONMENT

The challenge posed by the changing environment is set to grow bigger.  But, one might ask when was it small? Well, hold your horses people! We Indians have had scant respect for the environment as we are too busy fending for ourselves and our comforts.  Well, let me ask you some small but, pertinent question. Who wants the air conditioner in summer? Can't we bear the heat and keep the fan on? The very heat has been increased by our whim to roll about town in the cozy comfort of our aircon equipped car, even for measly distances. Our air conditioners have made holes in the ever so important Ultraviolet Ray deflecting lifeline called the ozone layer increasing temperatures in the Southern Hemisphere, accelerating the melting of ice sheets in Antarctica, a vulnerable ecosystem. Add to it global warming, the greenhouse gases trap heat of the sun. Which are the greenhouse gases? Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Nitrous Oxide, Ozone and Water Vapour.
