Guardians Of India:Soldiers

I see you standing among them all,
Standing so strong, proud and tall,
The world looks at you, but does not see,
Everything you sacrifice, to keep us free.

Your love for the nation is supreme,
Laying down your life for the nation is your dream,
Your life sets an example of discipline,
Where our capacity ends it is your beginning.

Everywhere around you hope is dying,
Yet how you react when odds rise is inspiring,
When the enemy approaches you go all guns blazing,
Seeing a comrade struggle you come running.

We owe our life to the soldier who stays up at night,
Be it snowing hard or the sun shining bright,
Be it a scorching desert or mountains outright, Be it day or night  you're ready to fight.

Leaving your family at home,
You fight for those who remain at home,
Your children grow up while you yet roam, Ready to fight when you return in a coffin.

Black clouds close out the sun’s hot rays, The hot Earth waits for the cool water, It looks as if the sky sheds tears for the Earth, The time nears for Earth’s rebirth. MY AMBITION

Ever since, I reached grade five, my language kept improving, and, by the time I passed out from grade ten, it had become good enough to make my ambition of becoming a writer of stories. I had always had that ability to channel my ideas easily into words.    I was always trying to express myself through words. When I was about 2 and a half, I got this problem of repeating words thrice, slowly this problem receded, but, I remained a shy speaker in my class till I reached grade ten. In the farewell, I took the emotional approach of saying goodbye to my friends by making a speech, laced with a thank you to some bullies who had made my life miserable, but, also contributed to my becoming a rock of calmness amidst all I suffered in words. I kept myself cool and showed these bullies the door out of my mind. The bullies used to strike me down by telling me about my physical frailties. A Story From My Life

My family has done a lot of work in the field of education under the guidance of my late grandfather. Some 30 years ago, he designed the plan of a school to be built in our native town. That building used to conduct classes for boys till 10th. Now it conducts classes only upto 8th. In January 2012, after my grandfather’s demise, the school authorities called on us. They wished to conduct classes till 12th in the same compound. In February 2012, the work started and the new building was inaugurated on 31st March 2013. In the inauguration ceremony, I made a speech invoking the memory of my grandfather. The school was named in memory of my grandfather. By the month of May all the classes were operational. In the construction of this building, my father gave a lot of time and energy, but, a sterner test was yet to come.
